Archangel’s extensive mission capabilities are the result of its integrated, state-of-the-art avionics and communications systems, making it the multi-role, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft of choice. The front and rear cockpit crew stations are outfitted with digital instrumentation for flight management, voice and data communication, flight control, payload management and engine management. The platform is configured with digital avionics, communications, and special mission equipment to include an electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensor and data links to support border patrol and other surveillance missions.

1. HUD

The Head Up Display provides control and performance flight information, navigation details, and weapon system information to the pilot without having to look away from outside references.

2. Armament Control Panel

The Armament Control Panel provides data storage and diagnostics information, as well as Master Arm and jettison functions for the Stores Management System

3. MFD1 (Weapon System Management)

The Multifunction Displays can be configured to display information as selected by the operator. When Weapon System Management information is selected, weapons inventory, arming and test status, target data, and target steering is displayed.

4. MFD2 (Primary Flight Display)

The Multifunction Displays can be configured to display information as selected by the operator. When Primary Flight Display is selected, control and performance data, along with navigation information, is displayed.

5. MFD3 (Engine Instruments Caution Advisory System)

The Multifunction Displays can be configured to display information as selected by the operator. When Engine Instruments Caution Advisory System is selected, aircraft powerplant and systems data, advisories and cautions is displayed.

6. COM/NAV Backup Control

The COM/NAV backup control provides alternate control of communication and navigation systems.

7. Up-front Control Panel

The Up Front Control Panel facilitates operator input of information into all components of the integrated glass cockpit.

8. Backup (EFIS)

The Backup EFIS provides redundant control and performance flight information.

9. Autopilot

The autopilot provides 3-axis programmability and is capable of integrating with all navigation and weapon systems. It reduces operator workload during missions
